Emmet is shown on the sofa watching TV

Disruption: Something breakS that normality

President Business makes an announcement that "you will be put to sleep"

Recognition of disruption: The characters realise something has gone wrong

Emmet realises when Lord Business says "or you will be put to sleep"

Attempt to repair: The characters try to solve the problem

Vitruvius says theres one hope and Emmet goes "me?"
Emmet and Wyldstyle try to destroy Lord Business

New equilibrium: Problem is solved, new equilibrium is established (This stage of the narrative isn't shown because it will ruin the whole movie for the audience)

Vitruvius looks very magical in his poster due to his glowing eyes and the intertextuality of Lord of the rings, this is a convention of the fantasy genre. In contrast, Emmet is wearing a builders vest and is running from a massive explosion, this conveys the comedy genre because the hero is a scared construction worker.

The facial expression of Wyldstyle suggests romance because she has got a cheeky smile which could reflect on the romance part of the movie, this is further depicted by the pink stripe in her hair and on her jacket. Where as in the background of her poster there is an army tank which coneys elements of action and adventure.
